I don't even need to look up its translation. I already know. Anytime I see the word objet used to describe something, I know it is code for fancy-looking crap. And Pottery Barn's Architectural Cast Stone Lava Objet is no exception ($19, was $39). Basically this piece is non-authentic and nonfunctional--in short, it's just another thing to dust.
