I am not a fan of fancy finials. Window treatments and their hardware should be simple and clean. End caps like West Elm's Tangle Finials ($14, were $24) add a bit too much bling to things that I feel should be classic. In my opinion, save the jewelry for your neck and hand, and leave your curtain rods unadorned.
