Nearly all the fireplaces that I see in NYC are non-working. They are $$ and a hassle to maintain. So what to do with the hole where the logs used to go? I'm going to start putting Crate and Barrel's Pewter Fireplace Candelabra ($48, was $69) in there. Love it!
