Nothing wakes up a room quite like color. Keep your room's design focused with the 60/30/10 rule. Use three colors for your home's accents (paint, pillows, drapes, lamps, etc.) but don't use them in equal amounts. Use 60% of one color, 30% of another, and 10% of the third.
